The new "talon" trigger from Horton is the best crossbow trigger we have seen. For years Horton crossbows had hard to pull triggers with a lot of travel. They were simply horrible.(but so were almost every other crossbow makers) Last year (2005) Horton fixed the problem with what they refer to as the "talon" trigger. In our testing against other crossbows the testers have consistantly choosen the talon as the best trigger. You will find the talon trigger on all 2006 Horton crossbow models except for the Steelforce. A big thumbs up to Horton for listening to their customers and making this excellent product improvement.
